PM Narendra Modi on Friday announced a compensation of ₹2 lakh for the kin of those who lost their lives to dust storms in various parts of the country. A compensation of ₹50,000 has also been approved for those who sustained serious injuries. At least 124 people were killed and around 300 injured in the storm.
