Following the recent incidents of child abuse and molestation in schools across the country, Nobel laureate Kailash Satyarthi has urged politicians to visit schools "as an ordinary parent" and assess their security arrangements. Schools should not be a place of torture, he added. Satyarthi recently launched an 11,000-km march from Kanyakumari to Delhi against child trafficking and sexual abuse.
