Australian motorcycle racer Jack Miller started the Argentina MotoGP qualifying 50 metres ahead of his rivals. Miller opted for slick tyres on a track which was drying after rain while his rivals had wet weather tyres. The rivals were punished and asked to start the race three rows behind Miller for changing to slick tyres so late.
