Rio de Janeiro is planning to require people to reserve spaces on beaches via an app in advance to ensure social-distancing. "People are going to be able to occupy marked zones depending on when they arrive, and also by reserving through an app," Mayor Marcelo Crivella said. He added the city is in talks with companies to create an app.
