The Supreme Court on Friday dismissed a PIL that called for the use of 'Bharat' instead of 'India' in all "official and unofficial" communication. CJI Justice Thakur told the petitioner not to bring emotional issued to court in the name of public interest. He added that it is left to the people to call the nation 'India' or 'Bharat'.
