Scientists want laws to prevent 'brain-hacking' in future

Biomedical ethicists have called for new legislation protecting people's thoughts from being stolen and maybe even deleted. The researchers believe that with advances in the treatment of mental illnesses, protection from "brain-hacking" should be ensured. The proposal sets out four new human rights laws: the right to mental privacy, mental integrity, cognitive liberty and psychological continuity.
