Snapchat's parent company Snap on Friday said it cut 7% of its global workforce in March, primarily affecting engineering and sales teams. As a result of the reduction in force, Snap expects to recognize savings of approximately $25 million in 2018. "The reduction in force is to align resources around our top strategic priorities," Snap said in its filings.
