The BJP on Friday announced that former Indian cricketer Shanthakumaran Sreesanth will contest on the party's ticket from state capital Thiruvananthapuram in the upcoming Kerala Assembly Elections. The party also announced a list of 51 candidates for the polls. It was speculated earlier this week that the BJP would field Sreesanth. Kerala goes to single phase polls on May 16.
