The municipality of Chiasso in Switzerland is going to let residents pay their taxes in Bitcoin from next year. Chiasso, which has been branded as 'CryptoPolis', will accept tax payments of up to 250 Swiss francs (₹16,670) made in Bitcoin. Authorities approved the new scheme after consulting with cryptocurrency and blockchain companies that have recently set up in the region.
