Tata Steel on Wednesday posted a net profit of ₹10,187 crore for March quarter compared to a loss of ₹725 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. The Indian steelmaker saw an exceptional gain of ₹11,376 crore in the quarter, mostly as a result of restructuring of its UK pension scheme. The company's revenue increased 2.34% year-on-year to ₹36,132 crore.
