The Telangana government has prepared a draft policy on electric vehicles which proposes benefits for manufacturers and to establish necessary support systems for the new mode of transport. The policy has 3 components– for manufacturers, consumers, and infrastructure. Telangana IT secretary Jayesh Ranjan has said that most of the expectations of industry players have been included in the policy.
