Three 'super-Earths' orbiting nearby star discovered

NASA's Kepler Space Telescope has discovered three exoplanets about 100 light-years away from Earth. The planets were classified as "super-Earths" as they have masses higher than Earth's but lower than that of Solar System's gas giants. The planets orbit their host star in 1.21, 3.65, and 6.2 days respectively, with surface temperatures ranging between 374-846 ºC.
