The Thane Municipal Transport Undertaking (TMT) is planning to introduce over 100 state-of-the-art electric buses in the city. An order for 123 e-buses has been given to Olectra Greentech Limited (OLECTRA) and Evey Trans Private Limited (EVEY) consortium, which will deliver them in nine months. Of the total buses, 71 will be air-conditioned (AC) while the rest will be non-AC.
