Two new Jupiter-like exoplanets discovered

A team of astronomers from Chile have discovered two new exoplanets that have characteristics similar to Jupiter. Discovered using the data from NASA's Kepler spacecraft, the gas giant planets have high surface temperatures and an orbital period of less than 10 days. Till date, about 250 transiting Jupiter-like planets (or hot Jupiters) have been discovered.
