Two Uber taxis were burnt on Thursday in South Africa over a clash with metered taxi operators. Reports suggested there have been periodic clashes between the two groups since Uber was introduced in the country four years ago. In June, an Uber driver died after his car was burnt by a group of men believed to be taxi drivers.
