At least nine passengers and one crew member were injured by severe turbulence on a United Airlines flight between Panama City and Houston on Tuesday, US' Federal Aviation Administration spokesperson Lynn Lunsford said. The aircraft landed safely, and several passengers were admitted to the hospital. A passenger said, "Many people, they jumped to the ceiling of the plane."
