Gamers in the US have spent a record $11.6 billion in the June quarter, a 30% increase year-on-year, The NPD Group reported. This has been the highest overall total consumer spending for the quarter in US' history. The sales of video game content reached $10.2 billion in the quarter, an increase of 28% year-on-year.
