US Senate votes to allow members to bring newborns on floor

The US Senate on Wednesday voted to allow members to bring their newborns onto the chamber floor. The resolution, which permits members to bring children under the age of one, will also allow them to breastfeed the infants during votes. The move was proposed by Tammy Duckworth, who became the first senator to give birth while in office.
