India captain Virat Kohli has made it to TIME magazine's annual list of the world's 100 Most Influential People for the first time. The 29-year-old ended 2017 with 2,818 runs across formats, the third-highest in a calendar year. In an accompanying tribute, cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar wrote, "Kohli's hunger for runs and consistency has become the hallmark of his game."
