US-based retail giant Walmart is in talks to buy more than 40% stake of homegrown e-commerce startup Flipkart, according to reports. Earlier, reports suggested that Flipkart's valuation may double to $20 billion if Walmart invests in the company. Walmart might invest $5-10 billion for a substantial stake, which would make it one of the largest cross-border deals in India.
