WhatsApp has released a feature in beta which allows Android users to lock voice recording button while sending long voice clips. To use the feature, users can tap the mic icon at the bottom right of the chat and swipe it upwards to lock it. WhatsApp is reportedly also working on an option to preview the recorded message before sending.
