WhatsApp is reportedly working on a new feature to let users transcribe voice notes into text. According to WABetaInfo, the feature is currently being developed for iOS users. The report further noted that WhatsApp transcriptions will be performed locally on the device by downloading relevant language packs, and data will not be shared with WhatsApp and Apple.
