Gujarat-born US District Court Judge Amit Priyavadan Mehta has been selected to hear US Justice Department's antitrust case against Google. Mehta, appointed to the court in 2014, did his BA in Political Science and Economics from Georgetown University and JD from the University of Virginia School of Law. The 48-year-old was previously a partner at law firm Zuckerman Spaeder LLP.
