World Bank President Jim Yong Kim has announced that $8 billion has been allocated for infrastructure projects under China's Silk Road initiative. It will help participating countries in accordance with their own development strategies, he said. The Silk Road initiative is aimed at creating an economic corridor connecting China with Asia, Europe and the rest of the world.
