World's largest amphibious aircraft makes maiden flight

China's domestically developed AG600, the world's largest amphibious aircraft, performed its maiden flight on Sunday. The aircraft, roughly the size of a Boeing 737, can carry 50 people and can stay airborne for 12 hours. Also known as 'Kunlong', it has been designed to carry out marine rescues and battle forest fires.
