The Maharashtra government has approved the construction of a sub-centre for Marathi Language Bhavan costing ₹17.66 crore in Mumbai's Airoli. The move is a bid to bring all offices of the Marathi language department together for better coordination. The centre will accommodate departments like The Directorate of Languages, Board of Literature and Culture and Marathi Encyclopedia Production Board.
