Odisha Tourism Minister Ashok Chandra Panda on Monday inaugurated 100 sand chariots carved on the Puri beach by internationally acclaimed sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik. This comes ahead of the annual Chariot festival starting from July 6, where devotees will carry chariots with 45-feet idols of Lord Jagannath. "We have used about 800 bags of sand in it,” Pattnaik said.
