Australia votes in favour of legalising same-sex marriage

A majority of Australians have voted in favour of legalising same-sex marriage in a two-month-long voluntary government survey, paving the way for legislation of the unions by the end of 2017. The result sparked celebrations in the country with people declaring "our love is real". Australia could become the 26th nation to formalise the unions if the legislation gets passed.
