Several banks including SBI, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, Yes Bank, and ICICI Bank have reportedly suspended accounts of top Bitcoin exchanges in India over suspicion of fake transactions. The banks are verifying current accounts held by India's top 10 cryptocurrency exchanges including Zebpay, Unocoin, and BTCXIndia. The banks also capped withdrawals from the exchanges' operational accounts.
