US-based IT services firm Cognizant on Thursday reported a profit of $470 million (nearly ₹3,000 crore) for the June quarter, an 86% jump from the year-ago period. The company's revenues rose 8.9% to $3.67 billion (over ₹23,300 crore). Cognizant said its revenue was boosted by strong demand for its cloud-based services from its financial and healthcare clients.
