The Aamir Khan starrer Dangal has become the highest grosser among non-Hollywood foreign films in China by earning $117 million (around ₹759 crore) since its release on May 5. The previous record as the highest non-Hollywood grosser was held by the 2016 Japanese film Your Name. The film earned $84 million (₹545 crore) at the Chinese box office.
