Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh has been sentenced to two consecutive 10-year jail sentences in two rape cases, CBI spokesperson Abhishek Dayal said on Monday. The court also imposed a fine of ₹15 lakh each in the two cases, he added. Earlier, reports said the self-styled godman was sentenced to only 10 years in jail.
