Dubai celebrated New Year's Eve with a display of fireworks lighting up landmarks including Burj Khalifa. The display, which showcased artistic interpretations of Arabian dance forms and swirling comets, was live-streamed on Twitter. Emaar Properties, Burj Khalifa's developer, said this was the first time Twitter signed a live-streaming deal with a firm in the Middle East and North Africa region.
