Early humans ate rhinoceros, used antibiotics: Study

A study on DNA from early human remains reveals that prehistoric man ate woolly rhinoceros, wild mushrooms and used plant-based medicine to cope with pain and illness. Scientists genetically analysed dental plaque from 48,000-year-old Neanderthal remains from Spain and 36,000-year-old remains from Belgium and found the two populations lived different lifestyles shaped by their environments.
