The Maharashtra Police have filed an FIR against the state BJP chief Raosaheb Danve for allegedly violating the model code of conduct during a municipal election campaign. Danve had reportedly said that Laxmi comes to your house before elections, you should accept it. The FIR was registered in response to a complaint filed by the State Election Commission, police said.
