Fossilised cosmic dust found in UK's cliffs

Researchers from Imperial College London have discovered fossilised remains of cosmic dust in the white cliffs of Dover. The space dust could be used to trace water-rich asteroids in the solar system. Such asteroids could prove as valuable stop offs for future human space explorers, providing them with drinking water and oxygen to fuel spacecraft during long voyages, said researchers.
