Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar on Sunday said the state will ban drinking liquor in public places by the end of October, to curb the nuisance created by drunk people. The state has already banned drinking in selected public places like beaches. It is also planning to ban swimming in the sea post-sunset and after the consumption of alcohol.
