Google has revealed the world's most searched carmakers in the year 2016, with Japan's Honda topping the list and its Civic being the most popular model on the platform. Germany's Mercedes-Benz and Elon Musk-led electric vehicle maker Tesla were the second and third most searched carmakers respectively. Lamborghini, Maserati and Rolls-Royce were also among the most searched carmakers.
