Heavy rains may have shaped Mars surface: Study

Heavy rain on Mars may have reshaped its impact craters and carved out river-like channels on its surface billions of years ago, a US-based study has found. Scientists believe, with decreasing atmospheric pressures raindrops got bigger and became heavy enough to alter the red planet's surface. Although there's evidence of water on Mars, it doesn't rain there today, scientists said.
