Hot and cold water sound different when poured
short by Sanira Mediratta / on Sunday, 26 March, 2017
Hot and cold water sound different when poured because of the difference in viscosity, the state of being thick due to internal friction. Cold water is more viscous than hot water, which means that its molecules cling to one another, making it relatively sticky. When water is heated, the water molecules begin to move around rapidly, making water runnier.
