Hungary asks EU to help pay for anti-migrant border fence

Hungary's Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has asked the EU to pay half the cost of anti-migrant fences it built on its southern borders, amounting to around €440 million (over ₹3,300 crore). "With the fence...our country is protecting not only itself but entire Europe against the flood of illegal migrants," Orbán said in a letter written to EU chief Jean-Claude Juncker.
