The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has projected that India will regain its fastest growing economy tag among developing countries in 2018, with a GDP growth rate of 7.4% as against China's 6.8%. India is further estimated to grow at 7.8% in 2019. Last year, China with 6.8% growth rate was ahead of India's 6.7%, making it the fastest growing economy.
