India's first-ever comprehensive Braille atlas released

The Centre has released India's first-ever comprehensive Braille atlas for the visually challenged people, especially students. It has 20 maps on different themes like physical, socio-economic, river system, crops pattern, natural vegetation, cultural, roads and railways. Notably, the atlas was made using indigenously developed silk-screen painting technology.
