Sonam Kapoor has said that she made a conscious decision that she would not be her father Anil Kapoor's shadow. Sonam added she was lucky to have a parent who gave her time and space to grow and respected her decision-making abilities. She said, "The fact that my brother looks like my dad does not always work to his advantage."
