An Australian man has won a Pacific island resort in a raffle after spending $49 on the winning ticket. Over 50,000 people entered the competition to win the 16-bedroom Kosrae Nautilus Resort located on the Kosrae island of Micronesia. An Australian couple held the raffle as they believed that selling their hotel the usual way would have been "really boring".
