A man on Saturday succumbed to injuries sustained during the stampede at Mumbai's Elphinstone Railway Station, taking the toll in the tragedy to 23. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has announced an ex-gratia of ₹10 lakh to the kin of victims. Railways Minister Piyush Goyal ordered a high-level inquiry into the matter and convened a meeting of Railway Board.
