NASA has announced the winners of its Space Poop Challenge, which required participants to develop a system inside a space suit that collects human waste for six days and routes it away without using hands. The winner, who received $15,000 of the total $30,000 (₹20 lakh), designed a small airlock, allowing inflatable items to be passed through and then expanded.
