NASA observes farthest inbound comet ever seen

NASA's Hubble Space Telescope has photographed the farthest active inbound comet ever seen, at 241 crore kilometres from the Sun (beyond Saturn's orbit). The comet has a 1.3-lakh-km-wide cloud of dust, enveloping a nucleus of frozen gas and dust. The observations represent the earliest signs of activity ever seen from a comet entering the solar system's planetary zone, said NASA.
