Pooja Kumar (20), a national-level handball player, on Saturday, committed suicide as she was allegedly denied sports-quota by the Khalsa College authorities in Punjab. In her suicide note, written in blood and addressed to the PM, she wrote she had to end her life as she was poor. She also accused a college staff of harassing players.
