'Neanderthal genes helped man adapt to life outside Africa'

A Seattle-based study has revealed that breeding with other human forms like Neanderthals and Denisovans helped modern humans adapt to life after they migrated out of Africa. The study revealed as many as 126 instances in the modern human genome that show high frequencies of 'other-human' genes, with many of these influencing qualities like immunity and properties of the skin.
